Top tips from National Writing Day

June 21st was National Writing Day in the UK. The Daily Telegraph celebrated the date by sharing 20 top tips submitted by writers via Twitter. Our favourites are:
“Read lots. Write lots. Read some more. Write some more. Never give up.” (Ali Land, @byAliLand)
“If people have to read it twice, it needs to be rewritten.” (Janet Goodall,v@janetifimust)
And, last but not least:
“FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY AND PRECIOUS GET A DECENT CHAIR AND GET UP AT LEAST ONCE AN HOUR *capslock yell*” (Sarah Perry, @SarahGPerry)
We heartily endorse all these philosophical positions.
